Common questions

What It Costs to Get It Sorted

How does your upfront fixed pricing work?

We assess the job on site first, then give you one price before any work starts. That figure doesn't move once you've agreed to it, whether the job takes longer than expected or needs an extra part. You're never signing up for an estimate that quietly grows into something bigger.

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

New customers get $65 taken off the price of their first booking with us, on any of the services we offer. It applies automatically when you book for the first time, alongside the $0 call-out fee, so there's no separate code or catch to remember.

Is the quote really free?

Yes. We'll assess the problem on site, quote it straight, and you can walk away with no charge if you'd rather not proceed.

Why isn't the lowest price your main focus?

Because the lowest number and the best repair aren't always the same thing. We price the job properly, use quality parts, and stand behind the work if something's not right, which matters more once a problem's actually gone wrong again.

Common questions

Licensing, Insurance and Responsibility

Do your plumbers hold a gas fitting licence?

Yes. Anyone on our team touching a gas line or appliance is a licensed gas fitter, which NSW requires. Smell gas? Leave the property straight away and dial 000; you can ring us once you've made it outside.

Does your licence cover both plumbing and gas work?

Yes, NSW Plumbing Licence #465156C covers both, so the same plumber who assesses a leak can also handle a gas fitting if that turns out to be the actual cause. It's on the public NSW Fair Trading register if you'd like to look it up yourself.

Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?

Some things are safe to do while you wait, like shutting off the water at the mains or placing a bucket under a leak. Anything involving the water supply, drainage or gas connections needs a licensed plumber under NSW law, and attempting it yourself can make the damage worse.

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

Every repair we carry out is backed for the life of the work, not a limited window after we leave. If something we did fails down the track, we come back and put it right.

Common questions

How Fast We Get to You

How fast can you get here?

Most jobs are sorted the same day, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. A person, not a machine, takes the call and arranges a licensed plumber straight away.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes. Someone answers the phone around the clock, not an answering service, so a problem at 2am gets the same response as one at 2pm.

How do I book?

Call (02) 9054 3067 directly, or fill out the contact page instead; a real person rings back rather than a form vanishing into a queue.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Water actively spreading, no hot water anywhere in the house, a blocked drain backing up, or any suspected gas leak all count. A slow drip or a tap needing a new washer is fine to schedule normally instead.

Common questions

Working In and Around Mount Colah

Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?

Yes, alongside emergency callouts we handle plumbing for renovations and new work across Mount Colah, not just the urgent jobs.

What suburbs do you service around Mount Colah?

Asquith, Hornsby, Berowra, Waitara and Normanhurst are all part of our regular coverage, alongside Mount Colah itself.

Do you cover the suburbs next to Mount Colah?

Yes, every one of the neighbouring suburbs we service gets the same fixed pricing, same-day response and lifetime labour warranty as Mount Colah does.

How local are you, really?

Mount Colah is home turf, and spring and autumn bushwalking traffic heading for Ku-ring-gai Chase and Bobbin Head is as familiar to us as any local landmark. We're through here often enough to know the streets, not just the postcode.
